Decided to go thrifting today and discovered a fantastic antique place that I hadn't been to before.
Although it said 'Antiques' on the sign, it was more of a
'Steptoe and Son' type place for those who like to scour for buried treasure.
The best part...sooooo reasonably priced. I did walk out with a couple of pieces..could have left with a whole lot more but youngest girl was not enjoying her mothers treasure hunt.
I will be back there next weekend to dig for more hidden treasure.
I am hoping that what I found today will help turn my laundry into something like this....
Country Living
or maybe this....
oh to be so organised !!!
House and Home

Oh Kym, where did you go? Don't worry, it's at no threat from me...I never get around to anywhere too far away! I love all of these laundry rooms. I think the first is my fave. Mine is so small I can't even get the ironing board out in it!

Ooh I can't wait to see your new treasures!! I love that first laundry pic, it is one of my faves, especially with that sink! So happy you found such a great new place to shop, it is always exciting when you find the unexpected:) Hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful ~ Tina x
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, loving your blog, keep up the good work. I've been blogging sice August and it still takes me a while to get a post organised. I have trouble getting the photos in the right order mostly.
ReplyDeleteLove all these laundrys. Have to admit I wouldn't be putting the toilet rolls where picture 2 has them (I'm a bit vertically challenged),lol

HI, I also loved these laundries. I had a bit of a giggle when I saw the neatly stacked toilet rolls. They would last 5 minutes like that in my house! I am with you on the stainless steel, jars and topiary - superb!
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't love doing the washing if your laundry looked as good as these? I agree with your favourite, I know I've had that pic stashed away for ages and I'm not alone - I think the blog world went crazy for that room. Of course, you must have wonderful taste! K xx
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love those pictures, in my wildest dreams!! My laundry is the size of a closet and I'm always grumbling trying to squeeze in there, spend an awful lot of time in there!! It will be top of my wish list if we ever move. In the meantime I'll dream over your photos!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog earlier:-)
