Ive been playing around with pinterest and found some gorgeous images of old french doors.
I love how clever decoraters use them in their interior designs...
similar to the look Sophie and Dale used on The Block
beautiful chippy paint
some old shutters
I have even used some myself......
Have you ever used old doors inside?
Wishing you a wonderful weekend
They're beautiful, aren't they? I thought Dale and Sophie (well I think it was Dale who did all the work - Sophie was still afraid of painting back then) did such a good job with theirs.
ReplyDeleteWe look at doors at auctions (missed out recently) and the tip shop but they are never as nice as the ones above. The ones we missed out on were, they were unpainted and gorgeous, but too expensive for us unfortunately.

Those ideas are quite lovely! Who knew that old French doors can be used to beautify your home? They give the space some much needed rustic charm. From all the ideas presented above, I love the 2nd one in which the doors are used as a bed post. It looks nifty and very cute.

Rustic yet very elegant! I love how these vintage French doors complement the contemporary design of the room. In fact, the doors fairly add value to the room’s aesthetics. =)

Well, who would have thought that these worn out doors can still have another purpose in one’s house? The fourth photo looks cool to me. I like how the homeowner balanced the old and new items. They’re kinda unique to look at. These doors were old, but it doesn’t mean that they’re completely of no use. :) You just have to be ingenious to come up with something like these.
