Today I just wanted to blog about some random things.... but I could not ignore the amazing acts of kindness, tales of heroism and heartbreak that have greeted us across the television screen during the past  few days..... as Brisbane begins the clean up, other parts of Australia are under threat..

I am pleased to report my sisters family continue to stay safe although isolated from their main township.. like many others in various parts of Queensland...

It never ceases to amaze me how many of our bloggy friends have thought of fabulous ways to help..
by making things, donating proceeds, baking, offering help to clean up  or just donating money...here are just a few...
